HANetf, Europe’s first and leading white-label UCITS ETF and ETC platform,[1] is delighted to announce its partnership with Ukraine Rugby League for the U19s European Rugby League Championships.
Ukraine U19s Rugby League Team, July 2026
Ukraine has faced significant challenges in recent years. Against this backdrop, Ukraine Rugby League continues to highlight the role of sport in fostering unity and strengthening national identity – and importantly providing young players with opportunities to develop and compete.
Through this partnership, HANetf aims to support Ukraine Rugby League in enabling its players to continue training, competing, and representing their country on the international stage.
The collaboration reflects HANetf’s broader commitment to Ukraine’s long-term recovery. Recognising that rebuilding extends beyond physical infrastructure, this includes supporting the social fabric of communities, where sport can play an important role in bringing people together.
HANetf has a track record of supporting rugby league at both grassroots and international levels, including backing London Skolars ELFC, the Ghana national rugby league programme, partnering with Salford Red Devils, and sponsoring Scotland Rugby League during the 2022 World Cup.
Beyond this, HANetf launched the Ukraine Reconstruction UCITS ETF (ticker: UKRN) in March, which provides exposure to companies expected to contribute to Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts. The methodology also permits fast-track inclusion of qualifying Ukrainian IPOs, recognising the evolving nature of Ukraine’s capital markets during reconstruction. Part of the revenues generated from UKRN will be directed to good causes and charities related to Ukraine.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Ukraine Rugby League. I am very passionate about sport, and particularly rugby league – my hope is that through this support, more young players will be able to present their nation at a time of great hardship.
“HANetf has always endeavoured to support grassroots and international sport, as with the Ghana national rugby league programme. We will continue to look for opportunities to contribute to these kinds of projects.”
