Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure UCITS ETF – Acc

Case for our Electric Vehicle Charging ETF

Growth of EV industry

The share of EVs continues to rise thanks to incentives and legislation aimed at meeting net zero targets, but the expansion of charging infrastructure has yet to catch up.

Policy to promote EV industry

Policymakers have pledged substantial investments into the expansion of charging infrastructure globally, such as Joe Biden’s $7.5 billion investment to build 500,000 EV charging stations by 2030.

Evolution of EV infrastructure

Every ten EVs will need one publicly accessible charging point. Currently 80% of EV owners in the U.S. have chargers at home, a statistic that will have to change.

Fund Objective

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure UCITS ETF (ELEC) aims to capture the trend of electric vehicle (EV) transition and provide investors a specific opportunity to gain exposure to the EV charging infrastructure industry. The theme is highly related to the EV industry, but has so far not enjoyed as much investor spotlight. ELEC provides exposure to two crucial enabling industries for the emerging EV ecosystem in covering both charging infrastructure as well as battery technology: Battery Charging Equipment Manufacturing and EV Charging Stations.
