Midstream energy – new demand drivers as interest rates fall


Midstream energy infrastructure companies play a critical role in getting usable energy from North America to demand centres, both domestically and overseas. Investors are increasingly attracted to the space thanks to strong income potential, stable and sustainable free cash flow generation, and potential growth as the world looks to diversify its energy supplies – not to mention as a defence against inflation, and the relative insulation from oil and gas price volatility. And now, we’re seeing new demand drivers for midstream – such as artificial intelligence and growing North American LNG exports.
