March 2023 London

HANetf Europe’s first and only independent white-label ETF and ETC platform and leading provider of digital asset ETPs is delighted to announce that it has won the award for Most Innovative ESG ETF at the ESG Investing Awards 2023.

The award was in reference to the launch of HANetf’s Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure UCITS ETF (ELEC) in April 2022 the first electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure ETF worldwide.

The number of EVs globally is projected to increase from 3% of all cars to close to 60% of all cars by 2040&mdashbut to support this surge in EVs the charging market may need to grow six-fold by 2027. ELEC seeks to capture this transition and the subsequent demand for charging infrastructure.

The ESG Investing Awards are the only awards devoted to assessing and evaluating the best companies involved in all areas of ESG investing across the globe. HANetf also came runner-up in the award for Best Specialist ESG ETF Provider.

Last year HANetf launched 6 new ETFs including Europe’s first Metaverse ETF and the highly popular Sprott Uranium Miners UCITS ETF . HANetf also continued its expansion into new markets listing over 20 funds in Mexico.

Hector McNeil co-CEO and co-Founder of HANetf comments:“We are delighted to win the award for Most Innovative ESG ETF. At HANetf we constantly look to bring new and innovative ideas to investors. Our electric vehicle charging infrastructure ETF is the first of its kind worldwide and underscores our commitment to bringing exciting themes to market.

“We are thankful to our partners and collaborators and extend our congratulations to all of our fellow winners and nominees. The ESG Investing Awards continues to shine a spotlight on the great work being done throughout the ETF industry in the name of ESG values and we are proud to be recognised for our commitment to those values.”
