Methodology

The MSCI World is a free float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index that measures the performance of large and mid-cap companies in 23 developed countries. It is calculated in USD and reviewed quarterly according to a published, rules-based methodology.

  • Objective & approach: The ETF follows a passive approach and seeks to replicate the price and performance dynamics of the index before costs.
  • Replication: Primarily physical; where full replication is not practical (e.g. due to lot sizes/market access), the fund uses sampling/optimization.
  • Currency & income: Fund currency is USD; the share class shown is accumulating.
  • Transparency: Holdings are disclosed daily (at the start of each business day).
  • Tracking quality: Anticipated tracking error of 0–1% p.a. under normal market conditions.
  • Regulation/ESG: Classified under SFDR Article 6; does not promote environmental or social characteristics
